How to Install Jenny Mod Using Minecraft Forge
This is the Java Edition route. For mobile, open the downloaded file and Minecraft
handles the import automatically. For Java, follow these steps in order.
Check version compatibility
Jenny Mod Java runs on Minecraft 1.12.2 only. Open your Minecraft Launcher, check the version number, and make sure it matches. A version mismatch is the cause of most install failures.
Download Minecraft Forge 1.12.2
Go to files.minecraftforge.net, choose Minecraft 1.12.2 from the left panel, and download the Recommended installer. Never use the Latest build for mods unless you know what you’re doing.
Run the Forge installer
Open the downloaded Forge installer, select Install Client, and click OK. It finishes in under a minute and adds a Forge profile to your Minecraft Launcher automatically.
Launch Minecraft with the Forge profile once
Open the Launcher, select the Forge profile from the dropdown, and click Play. Let it load fully. This creates the .minecraft/mods folder you need in the next step. Close the game after it loads.
Download the Jenny Mod file from this page
Pick the file above that matches what you need (v1.1 is recommended). Save the .jar file somewhere you can find it, like your Downloads folder.
Move the .jar into your mods folder
Open File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac), navigate to %appdata%/.minecraft/mods on Windows or ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on Mac, and drag the Jenny Mod .jar file inside.
Launch Minecraft with the Forge profile
Back in the Launcher, select the Forge profile and click Play. Forge loads your mods on startup. The loading screen takes longer than usual when mods are present; that’s normal.
Confirm the mod is active
On the Minecraft main menu, click Mods. Download Jenny Mod should appear in the list. If it doesn’t, the .jar is in the wrong folder or is built for a different Minecraft version.
Start or load a world and find Jenny
Load any world. Jenny spawns naturally in the world. You can also use a spawn egg or type a command in Creative mode if you’d rather skip searching for her.
