You load into a fresh Minecraft world, everything is quiet, and within five minutes you wonder why the game that has kept millions of players busy for over a decade still gives you no one to actually talk to. No companion, no personality, nothing that reacts to you as a person. The Jenny Mod solves that. It adds a living, reactive NPC called Jenny directly into your world, along with a full cast of companion characters, a trust and gifting system, custom animations, and dialogue that shifts depending on how you treat her.

This is the homepage for downloading the Jenny Mod for Minecraft across every supported platform. Whether you play on Java Edition on a PC, Bedrock Edition on Windows or console, or MCPE on Android and iOS, you will find the correct verified file here. Every build on this site is scanned before publishing. No fake links, no redirects, no bundled adware. Just the real jenny mod apk and addon files, ready to install.

The minecraft jenny mod was originally built by SlipperyTum for Java Edition 1.12.2, and it has since expanded into Bedrock and mobile formats through community development. It covers every mode: Survival, Creative, and Adventure. It runs alongside Forge, Fabric, and the standard .mcaddon system. If you have ever searched for jenny mod download and ended up on a site full of pop-ups and fake buttons, you are in the right place now.

Jenny Mod Info Table

Quick rundown before anything else. Jenny Mod was built by a modder called SlipperyTum back in 2018 for Minecraft Java 1.12.2. It blew up pretty fast. People started finding it through YouTube and it became one of the most googled Minecraft mods pretty much overnight. Free to download, works on PC, Bedrock, and mobile. Here’s what you need to know at a glance.

Who is Jenny? Your Virtual Girlfriend in Minecraft

Jenny isn’t part of the real Minecraft game. Mojang had nothing to do with her. A guy named SlipperyTum made her himself and dropped her into the game world as a mod character you can actually talk to and spend time with.

Think of her as your virtual girlfriend in Minecraft. She’s got her own house out in the Plains biome, just sitting there waiting. Walk up to her and she reacts. Bring her a gift and she’ll respond to it. Keep coming back and spending time with her and things slowly change — she warms up, follows you around more, unlocks new conversations. It’s sort of like a light relationship sim sitting inside Minecraft. Sounds odd but it works.

The thing that makes her different from every other NPC in Minecraft is simple: she actually pays attention to what you do. Regular villagers don’t care. You could disappear for weeks and come back and they’d just grunt at you like normal. Jenny is different. She reacts. That’s why the jenny mod download gets searched millions of times a month.

And Jenny’s just the start. There are 13 characters in total. Some will fight for you, some help you farm or gather stuff, one will literally steal your gold if you’re not careful, and some you have to beat in a fight before they’ll even consider joining your side.

What’s New in Latest Version V1.12.2

August 2026 Update

Most recent patch • All platforms

Latest

Characters now move much better on uneven ground and across water — used to get stuck a lot

You can now change hairstyle and outfit colors on your companions

Sorted a crash that happened when you had OptiFine shaders running at the same time

Textures load lighter now, using about 20% less VRAM than before

iOS 16 devices now work properly with the MCPE Bedrock version

New gift animations added and a bunch more dialogue lines written in

Fixed the multiplayer bug where your companion would desync when crossing chunk borders

Basic Features of Jeny Mod App

Jenny Mod packs a lot more than just one thing. Here are 16 features that make it worth downloading.

Real AI Companion

Jenny actually pays attention to you. First time you meet her she’s polite but a bit distant. Keep coming back, give her stuff, spend time with her, and she loosens up. Follows you around, reacts when you get hurt. No other NPC in any Minecraft mod does this.

Gifting and Trust System

Give her bread and she says thanks. Give her a diamond and her whole reaction changes. There’s a trust meter running in the background — fill it up by gifting nice stuff and you unlock things you couldn’t access before. Feels like a proper progression system.

Custom 3D Animations

All 13 characters have their own look and animations. Walking, talking, reacting, emotional stuff — none of it is reused from vanilla Minecraft. This is the thing that made the YouTube videos go viral. Just looks good.

Combat Companions

Ellie fights mobs for you. Galath hits harder than anyone once you earn her trust (well, beat her in a fight first). Creeper Girl? She just blows things up. Chaotic but useful. Bia gives you a defense buff when you’re getting destroyed.

Biome Spawning

Jenny’s in the Plains. Luna’s on a ship in the ocean. Goblin Girl hides underground — and she’ll nick your gold if you’re not watching. Galath and Manglelie are in the Nether. Hunting them all down gives you a real reason to actually explore.

Spawn Eggs and Commands

Don’t fancy exploring? Creative Mode has a spawn egg for every character in the inventory. In Survival, type /give @p jennymod:jenny_spawn_egg 1 with cheats on and done. Swap “jenny” for whoever you want.

13 Characters Total

Jenny is the main one but there are 12 more after her. All completely different from each other — different looks, different locations, different things they’re good at. You can have multiple characters active in the same world at once, no issues.

Bia Boosts Your Defense

When things get rough, Bia is the one you want nearby. She gives you a proper defense boost mid-combat and helps with resource gathering when you’re not fighting. Found her in the Birch Forest. Good all-rounder.

Bee Girl Grows Your Crops

Bee Girl is weirdly practical. She actually pollinates your farm and speeds up how fast crops grow. She also calls bees over when enemies come near, which is more helpful than it sounds. Good one to keep around your base.

Resource Pack Friendly

Most texture packs stack fine on top of Jenny Mod without breaking anything. The 2026 update sorted out some conflicts with Fresh Animations and a few other popular packs that were causing issues before.

Jenny Has Her Own House

She doesn’t just float in an empty field. Jenny generates her own little pointed-roof house in the Plains biome. Walk around long enough and you’ll spot it. Nice way to find her without needing commands.

Still Getting Updated

Two solid updates landed in 2026. New dialogue, bug fixes, smoother AI, better iOS and Bedrock support. Someone’s still actively working on this which is more than you can say for most mods that went viral years ago.

Characters of Jenny Mod and Their Unique Roles

You get all 13 in one download, no extra packs. Each one lives somewhere different in the game
and brings something different to the table. Here they all are.

Jenny Belle

Jenny Belle

Plains Biome

She’s the reason most people download the mod. Has her own house in the Plains. Most conversation options, deepest trust system. Start here.

Ellie Walls

Ellie Walls

Dark Oak Forest

She fights with you and helps gather resources. Probably the most useful character for actual survival gameplay. Find her in the dark oak forest.

Slime Girl

Slime Girl

Swamp Biome

She’s jelly-like and splits into smaller slimes when fighting. Hangs around swamps. Gives you a little health regen when she’s close to you.

Bee Girl

Bee Girl

Forest / Flower Plains

Good for farming. She pollinates your crops and makes things grow faster. Also summons actual bees when enemies show up. Give her flowers.

Allie (Genie)

Allie (Genie)

Desert Temple / Dungeon

Her lamp spawns inside desert temples. Find it and she gives you three wishes. Worth hunting down — the wishes actually give you good stuff.

Goblin Girl

Goblin Girl

Underground Caves

Watch your pockets. She lives underground and will steal your gold and items if you’re not paying attention. Fast, sneaky, and annoying in the best way.

Bia Prowell

Bia Prowell

Birch Forest

Great defensive companion. Boosts your armor rating in fights and helps with gathering when you’re not fighting. Found in the Birch Forest.

Luna

Luna

Ocean (on Ship)

She’s out on a ship in the ocean. Bring her fish and she opens up. Best companion if you’re doing a lot of ocean and underwater exploration.

Kobold Girl

Kobold Girl

End Dimension

Loyal and helpful specifically in the End. If you’re going for the Ender Dragon, bring Kobold. That’s what she’s built for.

Galath

Galath

Nether

Hardest character to get. You actually have to fight and beat her before she’ll join you. Once she does though, she’s the strongest ally in the whole mod.

Manglelie

Manglelie

Nether

Galath’s daughter. In combat, Galath drains the player’s essence to power her up. They work as a pair in the Nether and together they’re a handful.

Creeper Girl

Creeper Girl

Any Biome

She blows things up. That’s mostly it. Clears out big groups of enemies fast. Very chaotic, not very subtle, but honestly she gets the job done.

Zombie Girl

Zombie Girl

Any Biome

Aggressive fighter who can turn nearby villagers into zombies. If you’re doing a raid or just want to cause some chaos, she’s your pick.

How to Download and Install Jenny Mod

The steps are completely different depending on what you’re on. Don’t grab a .jar file if you’re on Android.
Don’t try to use .mcaddon on Java Edition. Follow the right guide below and you’ll be fine.

For Android

MCPE Bedrock • .mcaddon file

Get Minecraft from Google Play

Download Minecraft from the Play Store if you haven’t already. Your phone needs Android 8.0 or newer. Anything older than that and the mod just won’t load.

Download the .mcaddon File

Grab the .mcaddon file from this page and save it to your Downloads folder. Don’t accidentally download a .jar file — that’s the PC version and does nothing on Android.

Find It with a File Manager

Open Files by Google or ZArchiver, find the file in Downloads, tap it, and choose “Open with Minecraft.” If Minecraft doesn’t show up in the list, set it as the default app for .mcaddon files first.

Let Minecraft Import It

Minecraft pops open and shows “Import complete” after a few seconds. Just wait, don’t close the app. If it doesn’t open automatically, go into Minecraft settings and import the pack manually.

Make a New World and Turn the Pack On

Create a new world. In the world settings go into Resource Packs and then Behavior Packs and enable Jenny Mod under both. Hit Experimental Features if it asks. Don’t add the pack to an old world — start fresh.

Go In and Spawn Jenny

Switch to Creative Mode, open your inventory, find Jenny’s spawn egg, place it on the ground. She shows up right there. Done.

For iOS / iPad

MCPE Bedrock • .mcaddon pack

Get Minecraft from the App Store

Download Minecraft if it’s not already on your device. You need iOS 13 at minimum — check Settings, General, About if you’re not sure what version you’re running.

Download the .mcaddon File on Safari

Download the .mcaddon file from this page using Safari. A download prompt will pop up — tap Download. It lands in your Downloads folder inside the Files app.

Open Files and Share It

Open the Files app, go to Downloads, find the Jenny Mod file, press and hold on it, then tap Share from the menu. You need to do it this way — just tapping won’t always work on iOS.

Choose “Copy to Minecraft”

Scroll through the share sheet and tap Copy to Minecraft. The game opens and imports the pack. Give it a second. When the success notification shows up you’re good.

Turn It On in a New World

Create a new world in Minecraft. Go to Resource Packs, enable Jenny Mod. Do the same under Behavior Packs. Turn on Experimental Features in the world options if prompted.

Spawn Jenny and Start Playing

Jump into Creative Mode and grab Jenny’s spawn egg from your inventory. Drop it anywhere. If you’re in Survival, turn cheats on first and use the give command to get the egg.

For PC (Java Edition)

Windows, Mac, Linux • .jar via Forge

Confirm Minecraft Java Edition 1.12.2

Open the Minecraft Launcher. In the Installations tab, create a version running Java Edition 1.12.2. Launch it once to generate the necessary game files before adding mods.

Install Minecraft Forge for 1.12.2

Go to the official Forge website and download the Forge installer for Minecraft 1.12.2. Run the installer and choose “Install Client.” Do not use Fabric. Jenny Mod only works with Forge.

Open Your .minecraft Mods Folder

On Windows press Win + R and type %appdata%\.minecraft\mods. On Mac go to ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods. Create the folder if it does not exist.

Place the Jenny Mod .jar File Inside

Download the Jenny Mod .jar file from this website. Drag and drop it directly into the mods folder. Do not extract or unzip it. The .jar file stays as-is.

Launch Minecraft with the Forge Profile

Open the Minecraft Launcher. Select the Forge profile from the dropdown at the bottom left. Click Play. In the main menu click Mods and confirm Jenny Mod appears in the list.

Find Jenny in the Plains Biome

Create or load a world. Explore a Plains biome and look for Jenny’s pointed-roof house. For faster access use Creative Mode and a spawn egg, or use /give @p jennymod:jenny_spawn_egg 1.

For PC (Bedrock Edition)

Windows 10/11 • .mcaddon behavior pack

Install Minecraft from the Microsoft Store

Download Minecraft Bedrock Edition from the Microsoft Store on Windows 10 or 11. Bedrock Edition uses a completely different mod system from Java Edition.

Download the Bedrock .mcaddon File

Download the Jenny Mod Bedrock .mcaddon file from this website. Make sure you are downloading the Bedrock version and not the Java .jar. They are two different files.

Double-Click the .mcaddon File

On Windows simply double-click the downloaded .mcaddon file. Minecraft will open automatically and import the pack. You will see an import success notification appear in the game.

Create a World and Activate the Packs

Go to Create New World. Open Behavior Packs and activate Jenny Mod. Do the same under Resource Packs. In Advanced World Settings enable Experimental Mode.

Enter the World and Start Playing

Enter your new world in Creative Mode. Jenny Mod characters will be in your Creative inventory under Spawn Eggs. Place any egg on the ground to spawn that character.

System requirements to Download JennyMod MineCraft

Quick check before you download anything. If your phone or PC is below the minimum,
the file will lag, or just refuse to run properly.

Is Jenymod Safe to Install?

Yes, Jenny Mod is safe as long as you download it from the right place. The mod file itself doesn’t have any malware in it. It doesn’t touch anything outside your Minecraft folder. It works just like any other mod you’d install.

The problem is that Jenny Mod isn’t on CurseForge because of its content, so you have to get it from third-party sites. Some of those sites are fine. Others try to sneak extra software into your download or send you through a bunch of redirects before you get the actual file. That’s the real risk, not the mod itself.

Stick to sites that show you a clear file name and version. Don’t download from sites that make you fill out a survey first. Run a quick antivirus scan after downloading. And always back up your Minecraft world saves before installing any mod, not just this one.

Final Thoughts – Should You Download Jenymod?

Honestly? Yeah, download it. If Minecraft has been feeling a bit same-old lately and you want something that actually changes the vibe, Jenny Mod does that. The relationship system is properly fun to get into. 13 characters spread across the whole world means there’s always something to find. And once Galath joins your side you feel like you’ve actually earned something.

Installing it isn’t complicated. On Android and iOS you just tap the file and Minecraft handles it. On PC you need Forge 1.12.2 set up first but that’s a one-time thing and then you’re set. The Java version is the better experience if you have the choice ; more animations, more content, just more of everything.

18+ content, keep that in mind. Download from somewhere you trust, run a quick scan on the file, back up your world saves. That’s really it. The jenny mod download is free, it works on pretty much every platform, and there’s genuinely nothing else like it in the Minecraft mod world.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Yes it works on both. You just need to download the .mcaddon file for MCPE. On Android your phone needs to be running Android 8.0 or newer with at least 3GB of RAM.

On Java, she has her own house in the Plains biome. Just walk around the plains and you’ll find it. If you don’t want to search, switch to Creative Mode and look for her spawn egg in your inventory. In Survival you can type /give @p jennymod:jenny_spawn_egg 1 with cheats on and she’ll show up wherever you place the egg.

Almost always it’s a version mismatch. Jenny Mod needs Minecraft 1.12.2 and Forge 1.12.2, both have to match. If you’re running a different version it won’t show up. Also make sure you dropped the .jar file into your mods folder and didn’t unzip it.

The mod itself is clean. The file doesn’t have any viruses and it only touches your Minecraft folder. The issue is some websites that host the mod aren’t great and they try to bundle extra junk with the download.

Yes. There’s a Bedrock version that comes as a .mcaddon file. It works on Windows 10 and 11, Android, and iOS. You don’t need Forge or any mod loader for it. Supported Minecraft versions go from 1.17.0 up to 1.21.94.

Technically yes but it wasn’t really built for multiplayer. It works much better in single player. Some servers will block the mod because of the content.
